Client: Structuretone Ltd.

Project: Snapchat Offices, Farringdon.

Staircase Design: A feature staircase spanning floors 2 to 6, with four rectangular voids cut through the existing floors to accommodate the new stairs.

This bespoke project highlights Wessex Fabrications Ltd’s ability to deliver high-quality, customized solutions for unique architectural challenges. The staircase serves as a centerpiece within the modernized office space, combining engineering precision with aesthetic excellence.

Material Specifications:

All steelwork uses grade S355 materials.
Hollow sections adhere to BS EN 10210-1 (Hot) and 10219-1 (Cold).
Fitting plates conform to BS EN 10025-2 ~ S355-JR.
Non-preloaded and pre-loaded bolt assemblies meet BS EN 15048-1 and BS EN 14399-1 standards, respectively.
Welding adheres to specified leg lengths and is classified as Execution Class 2.

Finish Details:

Steelwork painted in “Snap Yellow” (RAL 1018).
Handrail finished with Anolock 543.
Glass is toughened and laminated.
All visible countersunk fixings are filled and painted over.
