Client: Structuretone Ltd.

Project: Uncommon, Holborn.

A feature staircase connecting the ground floor to the basement within the communal restaurant and café area.

This project involved the complete refurbishment of an existing building to create modern office spaces for lease on each level. The staircase serves as a striking architectural element in the shared dining area, while additional work included the installation of roof skylights, enhancing natural light and elevating the building’s appeal.

Material Specifications:

  • All steelwork uses grade S355 materials.
  • Hollow sections adhere to BS EN 10210-1 (Hot) and 10219-1 (Cold).
  • Fitting plates conform to BS EN 10025-2 ~ S355-JR.
  • Non-preloaded and pre-loaded bolt assemblies meet BS EN 15048-1 and BS EN 14399-1 standards, respectively.
  • Welding adheres to specified leg lengths and is classified as Execution Class 2.

Finish Details:

  • Visible steelwork finished in Anodic Bronze (Y2214F).
  • Central wall to be primed only.
